Every year, the readers of the Nordic shipping magazine Skipsrevyen nominate Norwegian newbuildings for the title "Ship of the Year".

"Normand Seven shows that Ulstein has the necessary competence and capacity when it comes to building complex vessels. The vessel is the largest offshore vessel ever delivered from Ulstein, and proves our ability to accomplish advanced projects," says Karsten Sævik.

Normand Seven is 130 metres long and 28 metres broad, and is built with a compliment for 100 persons. The ship design VS4200 is developed by Vik Sandvik, and the vessel will be delivered to Solstad Offshore in July 2007.
