Ship history

Barbaros Hayreddin Pasa was originally built for Polarcus, and named Polarcus Samur. The vessel was sold from Polarcus to Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) in February 2013 and was renamed in honour of the renowned Ottoman Navy admiral Barbarossa ('redbeard') Hayreddin Pasha (1478-1546).
